Fat Bottom Girl SCRAP HAPPY
No matter what kind of maker you are, you will always have scraps that are just too big to throw away but too small for the project at hand.
The scrap pile in my studio is starting to take over it's designated space and needs to be addressed so I pulled out some of my favorites and put together these happy patchwork project bags.
They also provide a nice opportunity for me to play with color and take me back to my quilting roots of the 1980's when I was deep into the quilting world.
Rifle Paper Company's Cotton + Steel line of fabulous canvas fabrics fit my aesthetic to a T!
This lovely cotton and linen floral print is a perfect weight canvas for a Fat Bottom Girl project bag.
It's paired with a sweet cotton duck, black and white gingham check that also serves as a lining.
